How do you get the green tint out of your blonde highlights?

I went swimming today for about 3 hours straight.then everyone said my highlights look green.i took a shower thinking they would go away but there still green looking.how do i get it out?please awnser fast i cant have green hair!!!How do you get the green tint out of your blonde highlights?
Well this sort of problem always happens to me when i go in my cousins pool. Here are some things to get the green out these little tricks will always work.





* Put ketchup in your hair and leave in for a while when your in the shower (it may stink but it gets the job done)


* Use clarifying shampoo twice a week or more any salon should sell this


*Or if those little tricks don't help go to your hair stylist and she should be able to help you get the green out

thanks:D i went to a local salon store. and bought some ion clarfiying shapoo i left it in for about 35 min. and it worked.thx. my highlights are blonde again lol. Report Abuse

Well my friends are blond and that always happens to them, usually they just wait for it to go away though. I don't know if there is anything you can do.
the best thing would be to go to a beauty supply store and get a shampoo that is meant for red hair. red is used to contrast green. just use it once or twice, you dont want to over do it
Redo the blonde highlights with a warmer tone of blonde rather than a cooler tone. Or just use an all over dye to coverup the highlights.
You will have to go to the salon and ask them to put a toner in ur hair.

Salons sell shampoo for this type of problem. But if thats not feasible right now. Try using baking soda mixed in with shampoo.
a vinegar rise or a clarifying shampoo. just don't overdo it cause it's drying... get a good conditioner.
