i think that it's better to start out by highlighting that way if blonde isn't really for you then you know and it's not ALL blonde and if you only highlight ur only dying some of your hair instead of all of it Which is worse doing blonde highlights or coloring you hair blonde?
both cause if you hightlighted in a couple of weeks they will get orange and if you color your hair blonde your brain will become slower by the weeks and plus the color looks ugly
I would think it would be worse to dye your whole head cuz its more hair your damaging but thats just a guess
neiter of them hurt at all, ive done both. no big deal
