put lemon juice in a spray bottle and spray it onto your hair. go out into the sun; the longer you stay in the sun, the more highlights you get. afterwords, wash it out.How do i get blonde Highlights using natural ingrediants?
Good for you for not wanting to harm your hair! Now, what exactly do you mean by ';natural';? Or do you mean chemical-free? Because although something is classified as ';natural';, that doesn't mean it won't harm your hair. Peroxide is natural. (So's rattlesnake venom and poion ivy! But they're not very good for you! See where I'm going with this?)

On dark brown hair, lemon juice and the sun won't lift the color past a brassy red. I wouldn't recommend doing that.

As for natural, both the Melatonin store and herballoveshop.com sell a product with chamomile and 3% peroxide. You may want to try that.

As for chemical-free, you won't find anything completely without chemicals. If you want something with the tiniest amount of chemicals possible, try Herbatint:

Here is info about the chemicals Herbatint uses:

or you could try Naturalite's lightening system:

Good luck!
squeeze lemon in your hair and sit out in the sun for about an hour
Do people not look for these questions before they answer? I swear I have seen this question 4 times in past few days! Lemon juice and sun dear...

DEMONDOLL: instead of wasting your time to email me about complaing in this post and saying I did not answer her. LOOK AT MY ANSWER! I just simply stated my opinion with it. FOOL!
wash you hair good and squeeze some fresh lemon juice and put it on..if no sunshine use a heat lamp and sit under it for a while...sunshine is better though and salt water too..it works for real!! I use it all the time.My grandma told me about it..she used it all her life too.
Find the parts of your hair that you want lighter; tie them off with bright colored thread at the top.

Get a large lemon and squeeze it into a dish.

Paint the parts of your hair you want lighter (the parts tied off with thread) with pure lemon juice, using an old toothbrush.

Blow-dry your hair or go in the sun until the lemon juice is dry.

Put remaining ingredients (see ';Things You'll Need) in a blender, food processor or smoothie mixer with a metal blade and blend until potato, apple and lemon are in very, very small pieces.

Use toothbrush to put this mix on your hair in the same spots you used the lemon juice.

Blow dry your hair or go in sun until it is dry.

Leave in for 4 hours or overnight.

Wash hair with whatever is left of your mix and then rinse it all out and use a good conditioner.

Highlights will show up within the next 24 hours!!

:)
cumb lemon juice threw your hair before going out in the sun this should work great after a few outing in the sun
use juice of real lemon after shampooing. Rinse lightly after five minutes. takes about 6 weeks to work if used once a week.
1) apply some lemon juice to the bits u want highlighted and sit out in the sun

2) use a highlighting shampoo- the 'timotei' brand is VERY effective- i used it on my almost black hair and it worked really well giving me really light bits

3)henna maybe? i dont know much about that!
weevs...

you can do anything with weevs
The sun always lightens hair. my hair is dark brown in the very depths, but very light brown on top because of the sun.
