Ok! First of all it doesnt have to be 2oz to 2oz. You want less powder than the developer or it will get too clumpy. There isnt a set amount to use just make sure its not too runny or too thick. Make sure you have a plastic bowl and an applicator brush. Now since your hair is allready blonde the amount of time is going to be about 45 minutes. Just check it to make sure it is the really light stage! If you rush it will turn out wrong. Now seperate your hair into section, start with the bottom and work way up. you can make your higlights chunking, or use the app brush and weave in and out for a more natural look! press the foil flat and fold it up tight so it doesnt fall out. good luck!! and afte youve finished condition condition condition! and you might even want to use a toner...---------%26gt; How to highlight blonde hair with peroxide and powder bleach? any help here? 10 pts best answerr!?
What kind of bleach is it?

You have to mix it correctly, usually it 2 oz of developer per 2 oz of bleach. Mix it in a bowl, do you have a color brush? It's a lot easier with one.

If you are wanting the chunky highlited look then use foil, if you want it all over then just apply to the whole head, pay attention to the roots they need the most, if you have new growth.

If you can apply heat, once the bleach is on, wrap it with a bag and put heat from your blow dryer on it.

When rinsing shampoo twice then use conditioner but leave it on for a few minutes.

Good luck.
If your hair is that color in your avatar..I REALLLY wouldn't use 40 volume(I'd only use that for lifting Black hair.). 40 is too harsh, and will lift faster, then regular. But if you still want to use it: Bleach is usually 1:1...But it may be different for your bleach, so check the directions(It should say on the box.), The mixture should be not too soupy, but not too dry(Turn off any fans, You have on..It may dry it out..When it does, Just add a little more developer.)...Anywho, After mixing the color, Take a section of your hair(Where you want the highlight.), then take the foil Put the end of a rat tail comb at the top of the Foil, then push it up under the hair...The top of the foil should fold over the comb...Then slide the comb out...Paint the bleach on from end to root(Roots, turn faster.). Fold the foil in half, DON'T smush the foil down...Then fold the sides. If the foil is too big, You can fold it in half for a second time...
