You need to have it professionally done.





I know exactly what you mean by Swedish blonde (I live in Norway), it's often called cornsilk blonde in English. It's not easy to get that color from dark hair.

Commercially available bleaches are usually very harsh or too weak, and repeated uses will ruin your hair.





Dark brown hair almost always bleaches to orange when you do it at home. A good professional will be able to lift the color to blonde, and then apply a tint to remove orange/red tones. They will also be able to recommend a good conditioner for your hair type to soften the damage.





If your hair has color on it already, it will be much more difficult to get the desired color.

It depends on your natural undertones, but generally a good colorist can achieve light, warm blonde highlights on someone with a darker natural level of hair. The question is, should you? Would you look good with that much contrast and could you or would you want to keep up with the maintenance? I'm not sure exactly what you mean by swedish blonde, I'm assuming a very light natural blonde? If you do try and do it yourself, you do run a huge risk of getting a bad, brassy or ';orange'; result that is too warm and unflattering. I would highly recommend at least a professional consultation about it, a good salon should offer one free.
You could get it professionally done, then you wouldn't have to worry. But whats swedish blonde? Haha like strawberry blonde? I personally just reccommend going to a salonist. They will do good color and do it well!

It probably would turn out orange, because your starting color is dark. I would suggest getting it done professionally. Highlighting your hair at home will not give you good results.
