Hi im a stylist of 11yrs, if u can pick all the blonde out an wrap them in foil that is the best thing to do coz then u no for sure u wont colour any. It is true about using lotion or conditioner but without the blonde being wrapped and out the way its very difficult to dye the rest. :o)

How can I dye my hair without going over my blonde highlights?
I want to dye my hair a darker brown but I need to keep my blonde highlights too. They're chunky so they wont be hard to put into aluminum but i heard if you put lotion on them too it'll keep the dye from getting to it. Is that true?How can I dye my hair without going over my blonde highlights?
